The film is set 15 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road, with a younger and perhaps even angrier Furiosa. It was also confirmed that the action will take place 45 years after the Collapse, a time when society collapsed and everyone started driving modified and studded vehicles.

Who are the cast & crew?
Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth and Nicholas Hoult are the protagonists. Previously, director George Miller wanted Charlize Theron to reprise her role as Furiosa.
“For a long time I thought we could use CG to make Charlize look like younger. , but I don't think we're there yet," Miller told the New York Times in 2020. "Despite the Irishman's valiant attempts, I think there's still an uncanny valley."
Will there be anyone from Mad Max: Fury Road?
Currently, only Nicholas Hoult has been confirmed to return as a war boy named Nux Road.
